Ooops (deleted <cat_id>)

  • i was in phpMyAdmin and accidentally deleted the cat_id field. I got the field back but don’t know the properties, so the db error is gone, but my link categories are not showing up.
    Can someone give me the properties, please:
    Field = cat_id
    Type
    Attributes
    Null
    Default
    Extr

  • I’m going to make a random guess here. See what happens when you run:
    wp-admin/upgrade.php
    If I’m remembering right, it will go through and make sure everything is set right.

    I figured it out. The cat_id got set to “a” and was freakingthigns out. Had to go innto phpMyAdmin and reassign numerical ids to the categories. Now, for some reason, they are not displayed in numerical order …. always something it seems.
