I was wondering if there was a simple table version (similar to the schedule table)
date | team name | opponent | score.

I use a schedule table for the full schedule.
How do I just output the game results without having to have the full schedule table? Can I limit it to only games completed?

The scoreboards format=gallery seems to take up quite a bit of space, but the “ticker” option doesn’t really work for a season’s worth of games to scroll through.

    Any ideas would be helpful.
    Thanks for your help

I’m not sure there’s a great answer for you in Schedules & Scoreboards. The idea of showing only the completed games is a good one, I’ll add it to “the list”. [Contact me by e-mail if you’d like to get it done ASAP.]

You can certainly create a table with only a few columns, simply by hiding columns on the Settings admin screen. But the resulting table will still show all the games, not just the completed games.

You might want to take a look at the MSTW League Manager plugin. In it, you can specify date ranges for all the schedules, including using “now” as a start date so the ticker, say, always shows the last and/or next week’s games. That functionality will be back-fitted into S&S eventually.

Is there a way to reverse the dates on the schedules? Meaning have first_dtg be the start of the season date and the last_dtg=now?

That way the only games that would have scores would be past. Just a thought?

Well, not exactly. You can however make last game on the schedule be the “current” game and then display the N games after it. See Just A Test on Cal 2016 Schedule on the MSTW Dev & Test site.

Reversing the order is not a big deal. I’ll probably do it on the next release of both League Manager and Schedules & Scoreboards when I get back to them.
