Add category tag to Buddypress profile activity stream / blocking a member

1. I’d like to, if possible, add category tag to all the posts listed in members’ profile Activity feed. This is not a must have, but it would be nice to have it there. Currently, it shows author, post title and “# of days ago” it was published.

2. I need to have a way for a member to be able to totally block a member from contacting them, ideally even from being able to find them via any search on site, but can’t find any plugin to achieve that. This is quite a surprise to me as I’d imagine this should be both instinctively and intuitively a common concern for most community sites. I’m wondering if anyone can help me with this?
