Multisite and Filescan – subsites not respecting time

    I have filescan set to scan every 7 days on the main site on a multisite installation – the subsites should be inheriting this value, since there is nowhere to adjust it on the subsites, but they’re emailing me 3 times a day instead.

    Am I missing something or is there a bug?

    Hi, can you confirm that you don’t have any other plugins running some kind of scan job? Can you carry out a test. Set the scan to every 1 days. Let me know if you still receive 3 e-mail messages per day? Can you also check the plugin log files under Dashboard?

    There are no other plugins doing scans.
    I’ve changed it to 1x per day. I’ll let you know what happens.
    The log files are empty.

    Results:
    The main site is emailing 1x per day.
    The subsites are emailing every 12 hours.
    The logs are still empty.

    Thank you for the information. This is very strange that the log file is empty. Can you carry out the following instructions and reinstall a fresh copy of the plugin again.

    @mbrsolution – that seems to have done the trick. The logs are still empty, but the multiple emails a day have stopped. Thank you so much for the help!
