• What can I say? It is simply not working. the subscribers sync stalls (but 80-90% IS synced, so it did at least something), when placing an order in the store the Mailchimp ‘Order’ object is created, but without any data in it… Shopping cart object isn’t created at al in MailChimp…

And all tested in an empty WordPress install using default theme and only this plugin and WooCommerce.

  • Hi wvdploeg,

Thanks for reaching out! I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with the plugin, and I’d love to take a look and see if we can help.

To provide some background information, the time it takes for subscribers to sync depends on the amount of data being brought over. It is expected that during the sync, the tab will say syncing is “in progress” initially and then update with a “complete” status with a time stamp once it’s finished. Did the status ever change to “complete”? If not, I’d first check to be sure that the latest version of PHP is currently installed, and that all other minimum requirements are also met. Those requirements can be found here, if needed: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/server-requirements/

If all of that is in order, there will need to be some additional investigation into the MailChimp account you’re working with. In that case, could you please reach out to MailChimp’s Support from inside your MailChimp account? This MailChimp Knowledge Base guide outlines how to do that: https://kb.mailchimp.com/accounts/management/mailchimp-support-options#Contact-Support

When you start a support ticket, please include a link to this forum post as well as the following details:

    – The version of PHP you’re using
    – How many records are you attempting to sync, and how long has it been since syncing?
    – Any specific email address examples that are not syncing to your list as expected

    Thanks!

    Pearl
