Theme Problems, I need Help

  • i just aquired a site that was developed in WP 2.6 using the Rin 1.1 theme by another designer.

    I have few major outstanding issues that I can’t seem to solve and am wondering if someone can help me out.

    1. Titles on Pages Don’t Show up.

    2. Category titles are missing? I have no way to edit category titles they are all showing up blank in the admin

    3. Visual Editor is missing? It only shows the HTML editor.

  • That’s a faulty upgrade: you have this for category link in your archives page source code (time to learn to llok at the source code when troubleshooting!)

    Search for that string of 2s = copy paste into the search box.

    While i appreciate the help, if that is what you gave me, i’m a frontend designer who came to this forum to ask for help not get ridiculed. Even if i had looked at the code I probably still would be here asking the same questions.

    So with that all said, am i assuming you are recommending that i do another installation of version 2.6.

    No, I always recommend exactly what I am saying: use the search, that’s what I was telling you:

    And I really don’t care what kind of designer you are. It is not a theme problem (despite what you assumed), so I was teaching you how to troubleshoot. If you don’t like it, hire a “backend designer” who can do it for you without asking questions here.
