    There’s a previous thread about this that’s marked as resolved, but I’m creating a new one since the issue has come back for comments.

    Since the update that added comment support, I’m now getting the above error (“The attribute ‘onclick’ may not appear in tag ‘a’.”) on any comment with an outbound link. This is caused by having outbound click tracking enabled in the Google Analytics plugin.

    I’ve disabled it for now, just so that half my site pages don’t get marked as having validation errors, but I’d really like to turn it back on. Is this something that can be fixed in the next update?

    An example URL would be https://toomanyadapters.com/buying-sim-card-usa/ but as I say, I’ve disabled outbound click tracking so you won’t see the error at the moment. I can either email / paste the AMP validation error output to you, or turn it on click tracking briefly for you to look at when you’re available. You can email admin at the above domain if needed.     It seems like you have enabled the comments, did you found a fix or was this fixed automatically? Because we are not able to recreate the issue.

    I never disabled comments — that would have been impractical on my site for something like this. Instead, as mentioned above, I disabled the outbound click tracking from the Google Analytics plugin. It’s click tracking on links in comments that causes the problem with the AMP plugin. I would much prefer to have it turned on, though!
