Can’t use customizer

  • Hi,

    When I click to customize option from appearance settings, I see the following error, “Fatal error: Call to undefined method WP_Customize_Manager::register_section_type() in D:\wamp\www\Luke\wp-content\themes\generatepress\inc\customizer.php on line 40”

    Please let me know the issue, I’m building a site on my local machine i.e. localhost, let me know if the issue is due to this very reason & everything will be fine when I move to a hosting?

    Hi there,

    That error is telling me you’re using an old version of WordPress.

    You should update to the latest version (4.6.1).
