• Hi

It seems the latest version of Nested Pages is causing an error with some permalinks. We have a site that has similar urls, such as
    …/upper-school/sport/
    and
    /pre-prep-introduction/sport/
    etc.

For some reason Nested Pages is making WordPress see these as one page, and is sending the links to just one of the pages. This was not occurring with a previous build of Nested Pages – only the latest version 1.6.2

I’ve had to disable the plugin for the moment, but really hope this can be fixed.
    Many thanks

Yeah I’m seeing this too. The permalink will be to the correct page, but all the content of $post will be a different post.

Same here. I had to disable the plugin for now as my site has more than a handful of duplicate slugs and I don’t want to change them as a workaround.

If anyone that is/was having this problem would be willing to install a patch on a development site, please send me a message on the plugin website: nestedpages.com.

I’d like to make sure this is resolved before releasing publicly.

    I have the same problem.
I have 2 custom post types and a post with the same slug in each:

    abc.com/city1/xyz/
    abc.com/city2/xyz/

When i disable nested pages it all works fine.
When i enable it it always redirects to the 1st link.

    Hi AP-B1

Please see Kyle’s message above yours.. I dropped him a message, and the test version he sent me works perfectly.. Hopefully he’ll get enough feedback from others to add this fix the stable release.

    Cheers
