get a 500 error when installing

  • Hello,

    Im trying to install WordPress on a subdomain named wordpress.
    First i get a screen that the confif file cannot be found and it there.
    Then i put all the data in the right places, then a get a screen that the database is found. Then i have to go to the next screen and i get a 500 error.

    How can i solve this.

  • Hi there, can you try clearing your database and re-starting the inst?llation?

    check your wordpress folder to make sure you have the correct permissions. On Unix, mine needed to be 755. If I changed it to 777 I got a 500 error until I changed it back.

    Both don’t work. De database is empty and the permission of the wordpress folder is 755.
