Unpublished pages but visible for everyone?

    Another major problem I am facing on my way to complete the website. I want to make a list of a football squad in a page, and then link each player to their specific profiles. The problem occurs when I create a page for each and single player. Their names appear in the main menu, which is not what I want. I have tried to create a page but not publish it, but the problem then is only the editors and admins can view it. Is there any way people can see my unpublished pages?

  • You will have to publish the pages with player profiles. In order to prevent names from appearing in menu, you can either exclude page ID’s from navigation via manually coding it OR use the Exclude Pages from Navigation plugin.

    Could you also please help me on how to manually edit the codes so I don’t get the pages in the menu? What files to edit? A brief but detailed explanation would have been very appreciated.
