How to fix edd_payment_count and retrieve a Sum of sales?

I am using Easy Digital Downloads and EDD Frontend Submission plugins on my multi-vendor website. I would like to generate different vendor reports; e.g. number of sales, sum of total sales, total commissions earned and few more.
Start with the total sales generated by each vendor, I can see edd_payment_count in the Nice Name setting page. Unfortunately, this is not working good for me. Almost all the vendors are missing sales count. Out of 35 vendors only 3 vendors’ payment count is showing in the report. How can I fix this? Furthermore, is it possible to retrieve a sum of the total sales of each vendors?

This plugin does not do any ‘maths’ on generic data. That would require custom code to create a ‘sum of total sales’ pseudo field.
RE fix edd_payment_count:
Plugin is only able to report data that is actually there. (Check in phpmyadmin) If any data is missing (maybe vendors existing before EDD activated?) or not being created (bug?) this needs to be addressed with the plugin that creates the data, not a plugin that simply lists what’s there.
