    Hey,

I have a website where subscribers pay monthly fee for being WordPress users of the blog, and there are just few pages with rescricted content. I changed the WordPress user roles so the Subscribers could add their own content and this is what they pay for.

What I need is an ability to allow just registration for the website (my current plugin automatically register members as WP users) based on monthly PayPal fee, automatically remove/block users when they cancel PayPal subscription and if possible send an email with warning before the block.

Is that possible with the free version of your plugin?

In general I’d like the posts and pages to be visible to everyone except few pages and free registration page. Btw when I enabled your plugin, suddenly nothing was visible to non-registered user, and all the posts status was changed to Scheduled, so information about how to set it up according to my needs will be also appreciated.

I’m looking forward to hearing from you,
    Luke

    Hello Luke,

Is that possible with the free version of your plugin?

That is not possible with free and pro version of our plugin. Our plugin only handles restriction for content access – it does not remove users if they stop paying. In Membership when user cancel membership it looses access to content – but still is user on the site – so in any case can rewnew its subscription or change membership.

That is weird, it should not happen at all without any configuration. I tested now on my site and I could not replicate issue. Status of posts were not changed and pages that are not protected are still accessible.
This could be conflict with other plugins on your site.
You can check usage page for Pro version https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/membership/#product-usage – both will work the same way, except that Pro version has additional add-ons.

    kind regards,
    Kasia
