Not able to change title tag

    I’m not able to change the title tag.

    On the frontpage “Startseite” is displayed as it is a German localized version. On the other pages “article | site name” is displayed.

    I tried to change the header.php of the theme, I tried to change the theme, I tried to find the expression in the .po file. Nothing changed the “Startseite” (see https://substanz.skroll.ch).

    Where does it come from? Where can I change it? Thanks a lot for help.

    Solved. I forgot that I had the “All in One SEO” plugin installed, which replaces the title.
