  • I am also having this same problem and my site is about to go live. Sometimes it will show up for a little bit and then it disappears. I made sure to put in my domain (during the google recaptcha key generation) to include asterisks so it will work on any page within my domain. Doesn’t matter, same problem. I only have two forms on my site. My site is about to go live this week and I need this fixed or I will be forced to use another plugin.

    Hello,

    Help me ?

    Thanks you

It is a known bug in Chrome and IE (but seems to work in Firefox). From an email support I received (using paid version), they said they are working on it. From October 5:

We have a GitHub issue for this and a fix should be included in the 3.0.7 version of Ninja Forms. https://github.com/wpninjas/ninja-forms/pull/1828
For now our recommendation is to remove the reCaptcha field and use an anti-spam field.

But 3.0.7 doesn’t appear to address it as of yet.

3.0.7 is what I initially installed and currently have installed and it doesn’t work either. I verified on the different browsers and confirmed that it works on firefox but not IE or Google Chrome. This is crazy! I would use the anti-spam field but I think it looks really unprofessional so I would really rather use reCaptcha. Can the authors PLEASE respond to this? Apparently others are having the same problem.

New version (Version 3.0.9) hasn’t fixed this issue still, this is ridiculous!

    I admit this is ridiculous

Just let me chime in here. I’m facing the same problem.

On FF it’s working – but the nightly Version does not show anything. The same with any ios device. The recaptcha does not work.

To clarify, we released an update to the reCaptcha in v3.0.7 which addressed most reported cases.

We are still seeing cases where the reCaptcha is not working and are investigating a new solution.

Also, all forms come with a honeypot field (invisible), which catches most spam submissions. This is what we mean by anti-spam, which is actually already included on the form. The honeypot field is all that we personally use and find this to be very effective.

@wzshop there has been another release with further updates to the reCaptcha that has resolved most issues.

There are many reasons why the reCaptcha may not be showing. The most common reason is a conflict with another plugin or a theme that is also loading the reCaptcha library, which can cause a conflict.

Without knowing specifics about your site, there isn’t much I can do via a forum, so I suggest that you contact support at https://ninjaforms.com/contact
