Blogroll : what tool ?

I guess most of us use WordPress’ in-built link manager to manage our blogrolls. You can import you links from blogrolling if you so desire.

I use blo.gs with rp-blogroll

does anyone get an error when using rp-blogroll?

the argument I get is:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/faisal/public_html/fpress/wp-content/plugins/rp-plugin-blogroll.php on line 112

I’ve chmod’d the cache file and activated the plug

The good thing about bloglines is that it makes it much easier to keep up with all the blogs on your blogroll. I used to use the inbuilt links manager, but it was a drag keeping up to date with everyone, deleting dead sites and adding new ones. Sorting links into folders/categories is much quicker in bloglines too.

The crappy thing about bloglines is they don’t format the blogroll as a list, the way WP does, but you could make it look like one with inventive CSS ??

True, they don’t. But I just link to the Bloglines-managed list with a “My Blogroll” link. It keeps my site from getting too cluttered (as you can see, 40 blogs would take a major toll on my sidebar).

Yes, and some more advanced blogrolls move the recently updated feeds to the top of the list.

Before moving to W v1.5, my sidebar was a mess (take a look at the Favored Freeware page, all of that was in my sidebar). Now, thanks to Pages in the new v1.5, my sidebar is tidy and homely. (Did that just sound like a bad commercial?)
