Newbie Wanting to Customize Trident Layout

The colours, fonts, sizes etc is all controlled using CSS, and you can check out these 2 links for more help on that:

The second link does not (yet) cater for Trident, but the principles are very similar. Bear in mind that both were written PT (pre-Trident) so there may be small differences.
As for the layout…….hang on, and Root will be along soon ??

Add an equal number of px to each of #rap, #main and #content. And that is it.

A few quick questions for you.
1. How do I move the title in the header right out of the way – as in make it disappear?
2. If I have an image which is bigger than the default header size….how do I make it shift down to show the whole image?

shadow when you say *bigger* is that width or height? Masthead has no height defined, it can be set by you as deep as you like. I would set the image as the background. at 795px width max.
