• Hi,

I am quite new to wordpress.I run a blog that has been up and running (adelle theme) for a few Months. I haven’t had any issues when I share my post on social media pulling the main image across untill my last post. I created the blog header image as I have using the same template which was made in canva (which have all previously worked). However on my new post it will not pull the image across when I share. I tried reloading the image, deleting the image, re creating the image but still it will not work.
I had a little google but I couldnt seem to find much apart from the facebook debugger tool. I have run this and get the following warnings:

Meta with name instead of property The meta tag on the page was specified with name ‘article:publisher’, which matches a configured property of this object type. It will be ignored unless specified with the meta property attribute instead of the meta name attribute.

Share App ID Missing The ‘fb:app_id’ property should be explicitly provided, Specify the app ID so that stories shared to Facebook will be properly attributed to the app. Alternatively, app_id can be set in url when open the share dialog.

I have tried fetching new scrap – that does nothing. I am now at a total loss can anyone help me?? am I looking along the right lines?

    My web address is: https://www.southernmummy.co.uk

  • What plugin are you using to share your posts? Have you tried asking the plugin’s developer for assistance?
