• I have suddenly started getting issues with accessing the plugins and themes from the admin section. When I log into the admin section for example and select plugins from the left hand menu it comes up with the error, “The connection was reset”. I have removed my whole website from the server and reinstalled a fresh version of wordpress and it still doesnt work, however if I delete the askimet plugin from the plugins folder (comes bundled with wordpress) then I can see the plugins page all be it with no actual plugins to view, but as soon as I put in a new plugin I get the connection error again. I have contacted my host regarding the issue and they have spent the past week investigating but have come up with no issue on their end. I am here to ask for any help or guidance on the issue.

    Thanks in advance,

    Ian

    – try different Browsers
    – try different computers
    – Try turning off the firewall during the installation process.
    – try discussing with your hosting provider
    – Check the error logs on your server for a more specific error message and see why it’s failing. If you need help locating them, ask your hosting provider to help you with that.
    – If you cannot find error logs or if you don’t find any helpful info in the error logs, try Enabling debugging
