somehow I have a dead link I want to fix

  • At some point, I had a valid URL on my web site as follows:

    https://peterkellner.net/archives/2006/01/08/23/

    Now, that link does not point to anything. I have people pointing at that link and I would like it to go to a particular post on my web site so people find it. That is, I can not change others who referred to this, but I would like to change my site to respond to it correctly.

    Any ideas?

  • Seemingly you changed your permalink structure, which always has a result of old links not working.

    You may want to search for a plugin that helpes redirecting old permalinks to the new ones.
