• Hi,

I was having a problem where people couldn’t register to my forum without getting the below message.

Warning: Illegal string offset ‘es_registered’ in /home/jayforrester/public_html/wp-content/plugins/email-subscribers/classes/es-register.php on line 433

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/jayforrester/public_html/wp-content/plugins/email-subscribers/classes/es-register.php:433) in /home/jayforrester/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1174

And so I deactivate my “email subscribe” plugin and it solved the problem, however… I don’t want to deactivate the email subscribe. Is it really the case where I have to choose between people subscribing to my blogs or registering to my forum???

  • There seems to be a conflict between the plugin and your current version of WordPress. First task is to see if there is an updated version of the plugin available. If the plugin documentation states it’s compatible with the latest version of WordPress, you might want to post directly to the email subscribers plugin support forum so the developer has a better chance of responding.

I’ll do exactly that. Thanks Clayton.

    Good luck!
