    Can I ask you a question? In your screenshot of editing the mail, the editor has nice visual buttons. though I get these when editing my posts I do not get these when editing the group email, its just the basic buttons. How are the fancy buttons enabled?

    I have tested this on more than 3 themes and I always got all the wp-editor buttons .
    Can you please share a screenshot for this and also check if this is working with the default wordpress 2015,2016 theme?

    It’s ok, I was being stupid (up too late) was looking in text view
