    hi.
It is a question about the promotion function of the member of simple members ship. For example, I set a default on the WP side to a subscriber. Then I register the item of the WP default in subscribers by the setting of the free member of WPSMS. I set a paid member in a contributor and editors in the same way afterwards.
Will it be contributed to the member whom the contributor and the editorship registered pay with even if they do not operate it of the change in authority by manual operation on the WP side by a default?
I try it, but contributions are not displayed by a management screen of WP. Is setting necessary?
Or is there not the function to be promoted to?
    I would like instruction.
    Thank you.

Hi, I am sorry but I don’t understand your question. Can you provide more information and perhaps even an example.

    Thank you

For example, I set the authority of the default of the new user of WP to a subscriber.
I make free member by setting of add level of simplemembersship next. The item of default wordpress role is a subscriber.
Finally I make a paid member. The setting of default wordpress role makes an editor.

I register free account in membership and am promoted to a paid member in the account.
Can you obtain the editorship that you set when you become a paid member?
Or I choose a member among user info of wordpress to become an editor, and must I set a change of role every user?

    Thank you.

Hi, I think I know what you are trying to ask. Let me see if I get it correct.

I think what you are asking is can someone that becomes a member using Simple Membership “The role is set to subscriber”, can the role be changed in WordPress for the same user? If this is the question, the answer is no.

Either way, what ever you set up in WordPress user has nothing to do with Simple Membership user role in a level. Simple Membership works independently from WordPress users. However you can import all WordPress users into Simple Membership if that is what you want to do. And at the same time allow the Users to keep their corresponding roles from WordPress users.

Let me know if the above makes sense or if you need more information.

    Kind regards

Thank you very much for your answer.

When I log in after it’s registered initially in simplemembership, I also log in to wordpress. The new user will be role level in wordpress.
Are they able not to log in to wordpress and to log in to simplemembership?

Hi, do you have the following enabled Hide Adminbar under Settings -> General Settings? If you do and you want your members to see the admin bar when they log in then disable this option.

    Does this answer your question?

Hi, my reply above was referring to login into Simple Membership.

Try the following, create a User in WordPress and give that user admin rights. Then import that user into Simple Membership using the following plugin Simple Membership WP User Import. Now log into the site using Simple Membership login. What do you see? Remember to enable Preserve Role when importing the WordPress user.

Yes you can log into Simple Membership without logging into WordPress. That is the purpose of this plugin to be independent of WordPress.

Hi, currently the plugin is designed to create a WordPress User when after you have created a Simple Membership member. If you don’t want the member to have a WordPress user account simple delete the WordPress user account. Then check to make sure the member has not been deleted as well.

    Thank you

    Hi,
Thanks for the great support. If.
User rights can be promoted automatically like plug-ins, or user rights to be registered Do you have plug-ins can do?

    thank you

    (@mbrsolution)

Hi, if you are asking if the user rights can be promoted automatically by the plugin the answer is no. You need to manually change the user rights in WordPress Users. Then delete the user in Simple Membership members list and then import the user again with the new user rights.

Simple Membership does not have this feature added.

    Regards
