Post links do not work

  • Hello!

    Could really use some help! I have a client who posts blog links to a FB group to generate more site traffic. Recently, people have been complaining about issues with the links – they either receive and error notice or the page doesn’t load. They will also try to just google her site and it won’t come up.

    She is personally not having these issues and neither am I. I have checked from my personal laptop, phone and work desktop and everything seems normal. I even contacted GoDaddy to investigate the problem and they saw nothing wrong on their end at all, but mentioned that it could be an ISP issue.

    The problem is still persisting and I’m eager to find a solution. I don’t know if it’s something that I can fix or if I need to try a different hosting service.

    I tried both the links and they seem to work just fine for me. Since this is intermittent, you could request her users to send a screenshot when the error shows up and also get the time and their location. Then you could ask Go Daddy to send you server logs of that particular time and see if there is something which is a red flag.

    Are you using a shared hosting service? I have had such issues before when the server show the website is down and after moving to a cloud hosting things seem to work just fine. Only sometimes do I get such issues which are very rare.
