next and previous link missing

    the next and previous link at the bottom of the page as well as in the top of the are missing from my blog. i tried changing the theme but still no luck. how can i resolve it. please help me quick.

    i have tried putting posts_nav_link() & next_post_link() and previous_post_link(). but they don’t work. i have updateted the blog to latest version and default theme but still no luck

    Try these in the template 

    <?php next_posts_link() ?>

<?php previous_posts_link() ?>

    i tried it but it didn’t work. so i manually added a link to page 2 of my site and these link were working fine from 2nd page onwards. only the main page was a problem.
