404 error

  • The 404 error is rightly caught by this plug-in. The file being called truly does not exist.
    Is there anyway you guys can record where is the file being called from?

    Hello Edisonantus,

    Thank you for showing interest and using our plugin.

    The plugin does not have the functionality to advise you from which page the 404 request was generated. The reason being is that we designed this feature as a security feature, i.e. so as an administrator you can know when someone is messing about with your website or scanning it. It was not designed as a “webmaster tool” to find broken links on websites.

    I think there are much better plugins specifically designed as webmaster tools to help you find broken links on the website.
