Yoast Sitemap doesnt work since 0.9.5

  • Yoast SEO sitemap (/sitemap_index.xml) doesn’t function when the minify is enabled (even if its excluded in the minify settings: Never minify the following pages: ([a-z]+)?-?sitemap.xsl).

    To reproduce you have to be logged our of wordpress and visit yourpage.com/sitemap_index.xml.

    That setting you gave does not appear to match a file named “sitemap-index.xml”. For one, there is the xsl, which is not xml. For two, the rule matches sitemap at the end of the filename, not at the beginning.

    You should try using a rule that matches the filename you’re not wanting to minify.

    sitemap(_index)?\.xml(\.gz)?
([a-z0-9_\-]+)?sitemap\.xsl
[a-z0-9_\-]+-sitemap([0-9]+)?\.xml(\.gz)?
