Hi, thank you for your nice plugin.

I have been testing the latest version running in WordPress 4.6.1. When I run the Core Scanner test it starts correctly but never finishes. All the other test run well and without any issues.

To further test the above, I disabled all other plugins except this Total Security plugin and still it would never complete the scan. It looks like it stays in a never ending loop.

    Current server specs.

    1. WP Version : 4.6.1
    2. WPMU: No
    3. MySQL Version : 5.5.5
    4. WP Table Prefix : wp_
    5. PHP Version : 5.6.23

Let me know if you need me to carry out more test or if you require more information.

    Kind regards

Hi, thank you for the latest update. I can confirm that it now works with WordPress 4.6.1.

This thread is now closed ??

    Well done.

This problem is still current on WordPress 4.7

This problem is still current on WordPress 4.7.2 verzió

If anybody still has problems with this, it’s because there is a WordPress hash checker that compares the WordPress installation with the official download using a hash.
The problem is, there is no hash available in the plugin for the WordPress version you are using. Total Cache version 3.4.8 only has a hash checker for WordPress 4.7.4, other versions of WordPress will generate an error, which mostly results in a status 500 response. The plugin doesn’t take care of failed responses, so it seems like the check never finishes, while it actually failed within seconds…

As long as nobody updates this plugin, I strongly suggest using other security plugins, because this one might in time become a vulnerability by itself.
