Youtube player insecure protocol error when logged in (secure protocol)

I am using your plugin on a WordPress site. The site blocks the embedded Youtube video from loading when we are logged in because of differences between secure and insecure protocols. Couldn’t that be prevented from by editing the plugin to be load the video as protocol neutral?
