email updates

  • Recently, my followers started receiving a second e-mail update from WordPress when I published something new. I create my own emails in MailChimp that are stylized with photos etc. and that’s the one I want to go out. How do I turn off the automated WordPress version?     what plugin are you using to manage subscribe/follows to your blog?

    I use JetPack and I have a separate MailChimp account that I want to send stylized emails via the latter. I have turned off the “notifications” setting in JetPack through WordPress.com and .org, but it still generated an e-mail. The weird thing is that it’s not going out to the entire list. I am signed up to receive e-mail notifications from 3 email addresses and i didn’t get it but several close friends have. Any ideas?
