• Hi Everyone,

    When I create a new Page, it automatically adds it to my menu bar. When I go to the page to add or remove pages from the menu, it’s not there, so I can’t remove it! Did I maybe change a setting that auto adds a new page to the menu? Also, why if it’s added to my menu do I not see it as a page actually there on the customize page?

    Thanks in advance for any help!!

  • Hi @debramegan2016,

    If I get you right (new pages are automatically added to your menu and you don’t seem to be able to change that from the ‘Edit Page-end’ of your blog).

    It’s in ‘Menu Setting’ and not in your ‘Page Setting’ please.
    ON YOUR WORDPRESS ADMIN PAGE

    1. Go to ‘Appearance’ and click ‘Menu’;
    2. Select a Menu to Edit at the Top of the ‘Menu Setting’ page (of course you will be editing the particular “menu bar” were your pages are automatically added in your own case – could be Top, Main or Footer depending on your theme);
    4. Go straight to ‘Menu Setting’ and uncheck the box that says “Automatically add new top-level pages to this menu”

    Hope This Solves Your Problem. Thank Me Later.
