I am trying to set it up with Graph API for posting to a page and i get this error, Mobile API is not an option as every time it locks the Facebook account asking to change password that stops it from posting.

I have tried to connect to FB from my website by using Graph API. It seems ok, and Facebook Business shows the integration, however no posts are going to the Facebook page.

I then tried to use the Mobile API, but after entering the information and when I tried to generate the access token, I get the error:

When generating access token with confirmed and verified active account with good standing that has worked without problems for 5-6 years now, plugin returns:

I’ve installed the plugin today connected ok to Mobile API but when i wanted to post it gave me an error on the logs dashboard wiht no Log details and when i’ve tried to log in to facebook separately, Facebook stated that someone tried to hack my account and made me change the password and review a bunch of actions that were made (by me) on my profile.

So .. does your plugin work or not?

The account ha’s been verified for years. FB then requires reset of password claiming account may have been hacked and warning of permanently closing the profile.

Seems like new changes in the Mobile API now require reviewed and approved FB app. Pls give a suitable workaround //THANKS

We used the plugin for a few years and it stopped publishing to Facebook, we tryed to fix it recconecting to Facebook API, but didn’t fix anything, just doesn’t work.

Any solution, as this plugin is for publishing to Facebook, isn’t it? so if it doesn′t do the job, what’s the point of having it active in the plugin repository?

Also, keep in mind that when you perform the connection processes from wordpress with the facebook api, you are immediately blocked on facebook, because they understand that someone tried to access your account or phishing. If you do not know how to recover your account, be very careful to proceed or try.

first i tried to setup “Graph API (Deprecated)”, i couldn’t get anywhere wit it as Facebook setting is a nightmare.

than i tried “Mobile API”, i insert my Facebook login, i “Generate Access Token” and inserted below, i selected account than i clicked on “add account”.

i published a post which it did not go through Facebook.

i checked the logs later on, i found the post that i published in log under “Status” error.

I am forced to use two factor login. When I use mobile api i receive a sms with the code, so thats working, but then where to put it?

tried to search myself for an api end point where i could send it myself by do some fast coding but did not find anything useful. Does anyone know where this goes?

Facebook now requires the ability to login to the app and test it.

How do we do that – do you have any documentation on how to get the App Approved for use with FB ?

For example, what permissions does it need, how do we describe what the reasons for the permissions ?

Can this plugin publish posts on facebook groups?

When turn on debugging I found this message, which I hope will help to identify my problem:

Hello guys, i am using the FAuto Poster plugin on my website, i was wondering if it is possible to auto post photos from gallery in wordrpress to facebook.
All what i am trying to do is this:
My client wants to add a photo in the gallery at wordpress and when he does this the photo to be automatically posted to his profile / page in facebook.
I tried to do this but i got no results till now and started to wonder if this is possible at all.
If it is possible please give me some advice / help on how to continue.

I tested this plugin with a website I manage, posting to a page on Facebook I manage. Not only did it NOT work, for the past three days Facebook keeps locking up my account, and not allowing me to ‘like’ or comment on different pages.

How can I recover? Your plugin documentation said it didn’t keep my login info, but apparently it did somewhere or you’ve been hacked because this has gone on every day for three days and your plugin was only installed and removed in one hour.

Hi to all, today you have to update (as us), the Facebook API (you do not have to reconnect the plugin to Facebook). Just have to access to your Facebook Developers account, select your Application and you’ll see a message to confirm your acceptance to new Facebook version APIs. That’s all you have to do and the plugin will work again by it self.

We are not plugin developers (just users), but as we had to go over this, we wanted to share with you the steps to follow.

I get an error when posting to FB with no error details.
Also, when posting using a scrapper plugin, it doesn’t even show an error. It worked before the renaming of FAuto Poster.

Could you please help me out?

After installing, and then finally being able to Authorize, I have created a few posts and have the Fauto Post to “yes”, but it’s not posting anything.

I’m also not able to select a “page”, I can only use my “Profile Page”. I have the correct User ID (It’s the “number” ID right?)

Can you not really do anything in the “Free” version?

Also the “link” for “Please visit here to get your facebook ID” Doesn’t work.

The plug in no work in “mobile API” When insert username and password disconnect me from facebook and after no work in autopost.

I’m trying to use this to post our church’s weekly sermons from out website to our Facebook page. I’m using the ‘Mobile API’, added my FB e-mail/password, copied the token, highlighted the FB page I want to post to, enabled only the custom post and clicked save. The entries where cleared and no new posts.

Is this plugin working?
