Jetpack Notifications Not Working for Self-Hosted Site

  • Hi! This is a new problem for me as I had been getting notifications of new subscribers and comments on my posts until this past week when nothing. I get email notifications but the notifications bar at the top does not show anything as it used to.

    Help please?

    My notifications are not working on my self-hosted site. The setting shows notifications are on in Jetpack and I can see I have notifications on my site from WordPress.com but can’t open them from my site.

    From my site, in Jetpack setting I tried deactivating the notification setting and reactivating it again and refreshing the screen. The page went blank and didn’t refresh and come back up.

    Can you help me with this issue? My site is “Plain Talk and Ordinary Wisdom” at https://plaintalkandordinarywisdom.com.

    Have not heard back from my previous inquiry above with regard to my notifications not working on my self-hosted site. Now, I click on my notifications in my site on the top toolbar on the left and all it does is continue to buffer. It doesn’t bring up my notifications.

    I have a screenshot but not sure how to attach it.
