I am having blank screen on my site map page.

I have googled it . And found that it might be due to w3 cache plugin and i tried the solution given there but had no effect.

  • Turn off the caching. Does the sitemap work? If yes, then consult the cache plugin forum.

If sitemap doesn’t work with cache on or cache off …

You can also try common fixes
    a) resave permalinks
    b) clear transients with wp-optimize
    c) turn xml sitemap OFF, then back ON
    d) change number from 1000 to 900

This works for me with sitemap gremlins! :-0

I tried this but not working for me.

I also tried to add exception regex ([a-z[a-z0-9_\-]sitemap(_index)?(-)?([0-9[0-9].(xml(\.gz)?|xsl)$ in brower cache option of w3 total cache

Does the source code contain data? Not sure how to see the source code, follow the steps in this article.

Yes – This is all that truly matters. Sitemaps are meant for bots and bots only see the source code. The stylesheet converts the source code into what you see on the page.

If you’d like to troubleshoot the stylesheet or if the sitemap has no data at all, the fastest way to rule out conflicts is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Sixteen. If this resolves the issue, you have a conflict and should activate one plugin at a time until you locate the conflict. Finally, after all plugins are active, switch to your theme. This will narrow down the conflict to a specific plugin or theme.

If you are unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we wrote a small guide that will walk you through the steps. You can find it here: How To Check For Plugin Conflicts
