site media get warning of mixed content

  • hello i would like to ask what can i do? i have ssl in my site and it is working fine. But if i inspect in console in photos of media i get this message:
    ” Mixed Content: The page at ‘https://site_url was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure image ‘https://site_url/logo.png’. This content should also be served over HTTPS”
    Can anyone help me please to fix this?

    Install the plugin “better search and replace”. Search for “https://site_url” and replace with “https://site_url”

    and it will work if i upload new photos? isn;t enough if i change the base url on wordpress settings?

    going forward, things will be OK. Changing the base URL changes how the site works, but does not change the URLs embedded in past posts, which used https:// because that’s how the site was configured at the time.

    You have to treat changing your site from https:// to https:// as change of domain name, not just a tweak of a couple of fields in settings.

    Yes, the plugin needs to be run only once, so you can delete it when done.
