Importing all users as Administrator

    Hello,

    I finally set up my CSV to import everything nicely with BuddyPress.

    Problem is, it’s assigning them ALL the role of Administrator.

    On Import, I have “Subscriber” checked (+update existing roles) and in the cvs I even included a “role” column with “subscriber” filled all the way through… Still no dice.

    I’ve been testing with with a few bogus users before I do the bid import.

    Please let me know if I’m missing something.

    This is strange, it should work marking the correct role.

    If you continue having problems send me a mail to carazo AT codection DOT com and we talk about it.

    I tried again today and ended up with the same results.

    Will send you an email with admin access along with my import file — maybe you’ll see something I’m missing!

    Eureka! After much ado, the solution proved to be an obvious one…

    Settings/New User Default Role was set to Administrator:

    Yes, but it should force to rewrite it.

    It didn’t seem to override this setting on my end.

    Please let us know if this problem is unique to me or if you were able to reproduce these results.

    It worked on my dummies site with no problem.

    It set the role correctly (I have tested with different ones).

    It is like in your system this override make it fails because this is executed later.
