Restriction message not appearing on restricted page

    Hi Great plugin and its working well restricting content on pages to registered members. But its not showing the restriction message on those pages. What am I missing?

    In the settings under Restricted Message I have the following text – Please REGISTER or LOGIN to View the Page – but it doesn’t show on the restricted page

    Hi, any help with this please. I forgot to mention above that the restriction message is not appearing on the restricted page for people “not logged in”

    Hi Pippin, thanks, I couldn’t seem to upload an image in this thread. But in the settings, I have it like this

    Restricted Message
    Please REGISTER or LOGIN to View the Page

    When using the [restrict … ] …. [/restrict] Short Code, this is the message displayed when a user does not have the appropriate permissions.
    The {userlevel} tag will be automatically replaced with the permission level needed.

    Can you show me the exact shortcode you’re using? Is it just [restrict] or do you have some of the optional parameter on it?

    Hi Pippin, Im not using a short code, when I published the page I used the following settings

    User Level – Subscriber
    Hide from Feed? – Yes

    And what exactly displays on the frontend? Anything at all? Can I see a live URL to the page please?

    Hi Pippin, it just shows the header, sidebar, title and a blank page (no text) so the restrict is doing the right thing and working but there is no message to say “Please REGISTER or LOGIN to View the Page”

    Could I still get a URL to the page please?
