Problem since update wordpress 4.6.1 and DG 4.2.5

  • Hi there !

    First of all, thank you so much for this great pluggin ; it has been very useful until now ??
    I updated our intranet yesterday to DG 4.2.5 and updated as well wordpress to version 4.6.1 as proposed by the backend.
    Since then, I am facing two problems :
    1. I cannot add documents into the gallery anymore when creating a new gallery : only images show up…
    2. I cannot update the galeries I have created before in the editor… : before then, when inserting the shortcode in an editor, it would switch to a widget allowing me to update the gallery easily. Now it doesn’t work anymore ; all I see is the shortcode…
    3. It seems that the problem is coming from the pluggin “Business Directory” that I am using (tried to disable all pluggins until I found out that the problem was coming from there…)

    Any hint about how I could fix this ?

    After some further testing, the problem accured when updating to WP 4.6.1 ; the 2 plugins worked together quite well with version 4.5.4…

    Any idea ?

    Hi epolet,

    I would recommend touching base with Business Directory developers. I will also take a look and see if I can reproduce the issue, but we have yet to encounter a plugin conflict issue where DG was to blame so I’m leaning toward BD being the culprit (though I’m admittedly a bit biased ;)).

    Thank you for your kind reply.
    Will try to get in touch with the BD plugin team, although I understand that when a plugin is doing its job when working on its own, it is never easy to find out where the conflict might come from ?? (“is it me or the other guys ?”).
