Adding drop down content to a page

Have very little knowledge of WordPress I’m afraid. Our site was built for us and the company that did so no longer exists so I’m hoping for some guidance.

We want to replace text on one of our pages with a map infographic we’ve had created. We would then like to be able to hover over certain points on the map graphic and have pop up/ drop down text appear with more information.
Is it a case of installing a plug in to do this? Any guidance would be very much appreciated.

At a later date we’d like to introduce another page with another map on which ‘tracks’ where our fish delivery for the next day is. Any pointers on that front would also be a godsend.
