  • Hey Lingenhsia!

Thanks for the post – I’m so sorry for the delayed reply! We had a little snafu on our end and were not receiving forum post notifications as we typically do. As a result, we missed this question for a bit, and I apologize for that.

I went ahead and took a look at your site and it looks like you were able to get those list fields translated – great news! For anyone else reading along, list fields can be updated by editing the list fields for the connected list in the MailChimp application as detailed in here: https://kb.mailchimp.com/lists/signup-forms/translate-signup-forms-and-emails and then returning to WordPress, navigating to the plugins section, and clicking “update” to sync the changes.

That being said, I did see that the “Email” field hasn’t been translated yet – currently, updating that list field requires some extra steps. To translate that specific list field, you’ll want to edit the PHP like so:

    1) In WordPress, click plugins
    2) Click “edit” under MailChimp
    3) Edit the ‘name’ portion of the mailchimpSF_add_email_field function, as seen here: https://screencast.com/t/MwlTOwLf and click the blue “Update File” button.
    4) Navigate back to Plugins in WordPress, and click “Settings” under MailChimp.
    5) Click the “Update List” option towards the top of that page.

That will save the translated content for the Email address list field. Thanks again for reaching out – please let me know if you have any other WordPress related questions I can help out with.

    Warmest Regards,

    Pearl
