Import all posts as Draft option/hack?

Love the idea of this plugin, but one of the issues I have is that it will import published posts from another blog as Published (in other words, no change to post Status).

Seems intuitive, but in the SEO world, I actually want to adjust some things before I go live (canonical link, etc). I also may accidentally import more items than I want to publish (since there’s no preview or selective process before exporting or importing items).

Is there a way to FORCE everything to import as Draft? Or perhaps a search/replace modification I can make to the export file?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
