    Hi,
    i upgraded the theme on an old site. I was using mh magazine lite 1.6.2. and moving to last version 2.5.0, to add responsive features. In the old version, index.php was taking care of categories pages as well (i.e. outputting catogory title and looping posts in category etc), but after update it seems broken (on category pages i see no posts at all). Has this functionality moved to another template part?

    thanks for using MH Magazine lite and we’re happy that you like the theme.

    Archives (e.g. category archives) are handled through the file archive.php, which works out of the box. Please ensure that the theme is installed correctly (and is not missing files) and that you’re not overriding template files with an outdated child theme.

    Hi, at last i rolled back to 2.4.1 (it was a live upgrade and i had to fix it soon); ok, 2.5.1 it’s not the edge one, but it works perfectly for my needs(and still serving category pages without problems via index.php as the old one). btw, 2.5.0 installation was correct and no child themes.

    If you don’t see category archives with v2.5.0, then this really is an issue on your end. Please check the theme demo which is running the latest version of the theme. Category archives are displaying fine there and also other users haven’t reported any issues (the theme is running on over 30k websites).

    It’s very likely that your site is serving some old files due to caching or you could disable your plugins to see if there is a plugin that is messing with your archives. You could also delete the theme and then re-install to ensure that all files are in place properly.
