Hey there guys –
First things first, @jibsoux – it sounds like your issue might be different since your database backups do work while they don’t for the original poster. Could you start your own topic so we could work through troubleshooting that works more specifically for your issue? Thanks!
@corvusmile – Can you just let me know a few things specifically and work through the basic troubleshooting so we know (hopefully) a little more about what the problem might be?
You said you tried the database only backup and it just spun without completing – did you also try the files only backup or just the complete one? If you didn’t try the files by themselves, could you try that for me to see if it does anything differently?
Did the plugin previously work for you and suddenly stop working or are you trying to get it working after initially installing it?
One last thing – if you can enable support on your site, you can copy and paste information about your server here (just use “xxx” if there is any identifying URLs or anything you don’t want to appear). To do that, go to the BackUpWordPress admin page on your site and click the “Enable Support” button at the top of that page. When you click to enable support, you’ll then be able to copy and paste that server information. If it doesn’t pop up in a small window for you to copy and paste, then go to the top of that page and click on the small “Help” tab on the righthand side of the top of the page. From the dropdown, click on the “Server” section, where all the information should be listed and able to be copied and pasted. Let me know if you have trouble with that.
Thanks!
Kat
