remove the sticky effect???

Hi, thanks for trying my plugin!

So if I understand correctly, you want the element to be sticky at first, but then once the user clicks the “X” on the element, it will behave normally again?

It’s an interesting idea. I’m not sure if it would be a helpful idea for the plugin itself (since it’s mostly intended, and used, for menus, which are usually always sticky), but I might create an add-on for the plugin just for ads (because that’s probably the types of elements where this functionality would be used).

I’ll look into it and will let you know if/when I have something available. Thanks for the idea! ??

Yes this idea is for sticky ads on the page..

The idea is to enable the visitor to cancel the sticky ad is he/she is not interrested…

Also, instead of closing it, you may place the ad in a toggle box, this will make it still sticky, but will be in a toggled box opened or closed accroding to visitor’s desire.

I can make this uad unit sticky but this violates Adsense TOS.

Thank you for such an excellent plugin. I came here to request this same enhancement, and discovered Hatem’s request so I am +1 and adding to his post. Please let me know if I should post a separate request.

As for implementation:

– Yes, a close “X” on the cloned/floating sticky (but not on the original element) would be ideal.
– Our use case is to promote a featured article with a sticky “ad”; but allow the visitor to dismiss the sticky by clicking the “X” to close it.
– Persisting the user selection is not necessary. In other words, re-enabling the sticky is ok if the user scrolls back to the top or reloads the page.

An add-on would be perfect. Where and when can I purchase it??
