Footer widgets with default home page?

  • Dear Developers,

    I’m playing around with the Default home page style and noticed that there is the option to enable up to 4 footer widgets. I did that but it seems only the left widget is active, the other three places remain empty even if I put widgets to the other three areas. Can you please clarify if this feature was supported to this layout?

    It seems to be a bug. If I edited the widget area in the home page customizer, the widgets do appear but after I quit the customizer, it still shows only the content of the left widget area even if I had saved it.
