Is there any problem with https protocol?

  • Hi,

    I’m running the latest version of WordPress, and tried GeoIP Detection with “Automatic download & update of Maxmind GeoIP Lite City”. I have also tried “HostIP.info Web-API” and “Manual download & update of a Maxmind City or Country database” and none seems to work.

    This is what I get when I hit update with “Automatic download & update of Maxmind GeoIP Lite City” activated.

    The website is running on Nginx 1.10.1 with php-fpm 7.0.10 with https ssl activated.

    I have also tried the plugin with another website with the same configuration, but without ssl activated and it seems to work as it should.

    Do you have any advice in this case? Thank you!
