getting hurrendous amounts of trakback spam!

hi all,

basically just over the last week (since upgrading to 2.6 i think) i’ve like 230 trackback spam comments? I’ve never had one before andi’ve been running the site of about 2 years!

I have a trackback spam plugin, but it just catches them and I have to manually delete them which is annoying but not as annoying as my gmail notifier popping up every minute with the spam messages!

What do people use to stop this on their sites?
