• Hi, I’m using paypal express checkout on my site neatproductz.com and it all works fine up to the very end.

When I’m making a trial purchase it returns me to the review order page where I place the order. The order actually goes through and payment is made, but I’m then taken to a page saying “The neatproducts.com page isn’t working”, instead of a confirmation page. There’s no indication the payment has gone through.

I’ve tried deactivating/reactivating the plugin and deleting /reinstalling it, but it makes no difference. When I reinstall the plugin all the settings I have to enter are already prepopulated as though all the settings are held in a cache. I’ve tried clearing the browser cache and that makes no difference. I can’t see a cache anywhere in wordpress.

I really like the plugin and I have it working on another site. It was working fine on the neatproductz site as well before this problem.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I think you posted in another thread somewhere that I already responded to, right?

What you’re describing sounds like your receipt page is coming up as a 404 for some reason.

Are you sure that other payment gateways are still working correctly? It sounds like the sort of thing that might be happening on this site no matter how people pay..??

Thanks for responding, and I apologize for posting twice. I thought I had posted in the wrong spot the first time.

With paypal for woocommerce deactivated paypal standard works fine. As far as I can tell I have no caching plugins.

I’ve deactivated all plugins except for woocommerce, gone into incognito mode, reinstalled paypal for woocommerce and tried another purchase and got the same error.

It does say HTTP ERROR 500, so after googling it I’m guessing the best thing to do is put in a support ticket with my webhost. I’ll give it a go anyway. Once again, i appreciate your time.

I’m actually having the same issue with PayPal Express. After I land on the page with the “Place Order” button and click it, I land on a completely blank page. Inspecting the network traffic shows that WordPress is returning a 200 status code.

We’re also supporting PayPal Pro 2.0 (PayFlow) without issue.

@marpstar, if you’re getting a blank page that means there’s a PHP error happening. Please enable WP_DEBUG in your config file and give it another try. That should show an actual error instead of a blank page.
