• So I’m running into this problem where my homepage looks messed up on my work computer, but doesn’t on my home computer and I’m not quite sure why. I don’t know if it is the screen resolution or what. The website is https://www.tmmslynn.com. If this is the problem and it is a screen resolution issue is there anything i can do to make sure no matter what the resolution my page looks the same? This is what it looks like click here

Thank you in advance for any and all help.

  • Hello,

I suppose that your browser on your work is different than at your home.
Check on your work or it helps to activate the Compatibility View settings for your domain name.
IE –> Tools (or Options) –> Compatibility View settings –> Add your site to it.
Let me know or it works ??

    Hi,

It would seem that your work computer doesn’t have css files included with the WordPress folder, if you are running the site locally.

If not, you might have the css feature turned off in browser.
You should activate it in developer tools (or similar, it depends on the browser). there you go to settings, and find something that’s saying “disable css” and if it’s selected, deselect it and refresh the page.

There is a topic on stackoverflow, that might be able to help you out with that.

Neither of these options worked. I am completely stumped.

What browser and version do you use at work?
