sticking Ads under the share buttons.. really?

I don’t care how good the plugin is otherwise. It sticks what they call targeted ads under the share buttons and hides the controls in an obscure panel in advanced settings. I placed this in a client’s professional website and next thing I know there are very inappropriate ads loading on their posts. I know I can turn this off once I find it in advanced settings but this comes off as a sketchy marketing tactic at best.
